A businessman who had a serious stroke 34 days after a minor car crash warned today of the hidden dangers of whiplash, following a case in the High Court where he was awarded £2.43 million.
Robert Bright, 56, suffered a brain injury and lost the full use of his left arm after the 2008 crash, bringing his successful career as a customer services and contracts manager to an end.
His car was shunted on the M27 while at a standstill in traffic. He exchanged details with the other driver and continued on his way, completely unaware of how the injuries would affect him.
